let's talk about our tradition

in my area, there is a traditional tradition called "Gasdeso/sedekah bumi". it is held once in a year, as thanks giving to the God because of everything we've had. in this moment all people make so many traditional cakes like; dumbek, bugis, gemblong, etc. all are traditional food made by themselves. then, they submit them in a certain area. then they pray together and finally they eat them together. the outsiders may join in it. everyone is welcome in this opportunity. it's one of the traditions from my area. what about yours?
